Savings base is becoming significantly more important to emerging markets, while access to debt becomes affordable and transport costs will decline in the medium term. This base is fundamentally useful for macroeconomic sovereignty and also consumer confidence and long term resilience to volatility. It does require a steep trade-off between cheap debt and good interest on savings, but education and other demographic specific behavior changers will be of value.
